Copyright & Usage Policy

All photography, video, audio, written content, graphics, branding elements, and website materials created by or displayed by Lindsey Epps Media LLC are protected by copyright unless otherwise stated in writing.

Ownership of Creative Work

Lindsey Epps Media LLC retains copyright ownership of original creative work, including photography, video footage, edited videos, audio productions, graphics, website copy, and portfolio materials, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Payment for a service does not automatically transfer copyright ownership. It grants usage rights for the agreed purpose, platform, timeline, and scope described in the project agreement, invoice, proposal, or written communication.

Photography Licensing & Usage

Photography delivered to clients may be used for the approved personal, business, promotional, editorial, social media, website, or marketing purposes agreed to for that project.

Unless written permission is granted, photos may not be resold, relicensed, submitted to stock image platforms, used in paid advertising beyond the agreed scope, transferred to another business or publication, altered in a misleading way, or used to train artificial intelligence systems.

Clients may not remove watermarks, metadata, copyright notices, or creator credit from preview images, proof galleries, or protected files.

Portfolio & Promotional Use

Unless a project agreement states otherwise, Lindsey Epps Media LLC may display completed work in portfolios, websites, social media, demo reels, case studies, marketing materials, and business presentations to show examples of services provided.

Private, sensitive, confidential, or embargoed work can be excluded from portfolio use when agreed in writing before or during the project.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for securing permissions, releases, location approvals, brand approvals, music licenses, and third-party content rights needed for their intended use when those items are not provided by Lindsey Epps Media LLC.

Clients are also responsible for using delivered work in a way that matches the agreed license and does not violate the rights of another person, creator, brand, venue, or organization.

Prohibited Use

Website visitors and clients may not copy, download, scrape, reproduce, modify, sell, license, publish, or redistribute Lindsey Epps Media LLC content without written permission, except for normal sharing of public website links or social media posts with proper attribution.

Use of images or media from this website for impersonation, false endorsement, harassment, defamatory content, unauthorized advertising, or AI model training is not permitted.

Additional Licensing Requests

If you need expanded usage rights, commercial advertising rights, publication rights, exclusivity, copyright transfer, raw files, extended archive access, or permission to use work outside the original project scope, contact Lindsey Epps Media LLC before using the material.

Additional licensing may require written approval and a separate licensing fee.
